NAVIGATION INSTRUCTIONS

This plot shows the lizard species in a hypervolume reduced to three main dimensions through a PCA, coding slopes as proxy for thermoregulation strategies with different symbol colors.

Most Gekkonids and Gymnophthalmids tend to be thermoconformers, and their body temperatures follow environmetal temperatures. On the other side, most of the Teiids, Lacertids, Scincids and Varanids are thermoregulators, and their body temperature is behavioraly regulated.
