TENTATIVE CALENDAR AND LECTURE
OUTLINE: I will try to stay close to this schedule, but it is just my best
effort at keeping us on track. The exam dates are firm, however. Each lecture
is linked or will be linked to an outline. You will want to print these and
bring them to class for the lecture. Additional material will be presented in
the lecture, so do not depend on the web notes entirely. You will also need to
take your own notes. The textbook is primarily intended as a reference. The
majority of material on the exams will come from the lecture and web notes.
Concentrate your study time on those. There is more material in the assigned
chapters than we can possibly cover. If there are links on some of the webpages
to outside sites, you are not responsible for the information at these sites.
It is for your personal enrichment.
